There is an ancient proverb that says ‘ One who sings well prays twice’.
Our church choir is a growing enthusiastic group of people who just love to sing. We meet on Tuesday evenings at 7.30 in St. Theresa’s Church Hall (We don’t meet the first Tuesday of every month as the hall is already in use). We sing a variety of music: spiritual for masses and music that is just for fun. Our concerts are becoming quite popular and we now prepare for two a year, one at Christmas and one the first week of July. Our Summer concert includes a live orchestra and 2 children’s choirs ; songs from The Sound of Music, Joseph, Hairspray and The Lion King have been performed in the last few years.
Those who can attend usually sing in Church on Sundays and for special occasions. Why not come and join us? You don’t have to be an experienced singer; enthusiasm and a willingness to be part of a team are much more important.
