The Church looked amazing over Christmas. Thanks must go to everyone who put in such a big effort to make our Church so beautiful.
A huge grateful thank-you to Mark Hickenbotham for his hard work and dedication running the Church Youth Group for many years. A surprise party was held in his honour on Christmas Eve after Mass with cake and gifts.
The Christmas Concert was amazing! The choir and band excelled themselves with beautiful Christmas Songs and the audience participation of Carols raised the roof with praise for our New Born King. The Children’s Party was such fun. There were plenty of games and laughter and Father Christmas and his Elf arrived to give every child an early Christmas Present. Thanks go to Father Christmas, Isabel the Elf, and everyone who helped make the party such a success.
The summer concert was amazing. The church was packed. There were four choirs (the church children’s choir, the church adult choir, Bishop Ellis School Choir and English Martyrs Choir) Also an amazing orchestra which lifted the roof with music from Wicked. Retirement Mass and Blessing of the Bench in Memory of Father Keith. The Care Hub is a great success and all parishioners are welcome. The next dates are Friday 6th September at 7.30 and Friday 4th October at St Theresa’s. Refreshments provided. Come along it’s a great social evening.
